Screen Printing: Screen printing is the transfer of colored ink onto fabric. Screen printing can be applied to virtually anything! Along with the thousands of shirts that we print every week, we can also embroider and heat press hats, team jerseys, and tote bags.

Color Choice: Every color combination is possible. Depending on the color of the garment, a professional from Long Island Screen Printing will assist you in creating the most attractive, cost-effective product possible.

We offer both standard and customized (PMS matched) colors.

Artwork and Logo Design: Our art department can work with your logo or design and offers full service design work…from simple development of lettering to production of artwork to fit your needs. We can recreate any logo or if you don’t have we can make one that appeals to you. We’ll help your company look great!

Using the latest technology, we offer production of four-color process and simulated process art; saving you time and money when producing complicated multi-color prints.

Available Colors: Our machinery enables us to print as many as 6 individual colors on a particular garment.

For intricate jobs being printed on light garments, we offer four-color process printing, a method used for screen printing complex artwork like photographs. With four-color process printing, there is a setup process called “color separation” in which the artwork is broken down into the four component colors (called CMYK colors) of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. The entire print is then later made by mixing and layering varying amounts of each of those 4 colors onto the garment.

We also offer simulated process printing, an alternative to four-color process printing for intricate printing on dark or light garments. Depending on the job, we’ll recommend the best technique for you.

For an estimate please include:
*Garment to be screen printed (tee-shirt, sweatshirt, hat, tote bag etc.)
*Number of colors in the design
*Quantity to be printed
*Placement of the printing (front, back, sleeve, etc.)

Ordering:
After an order request is faxed or emailed to us, one of our professionals will speak with you to confirm your needs and provide accurate pricing.

1. We order garments and any other materials needed to complete your job.
2. Artwork is created for new orders by our in-house art department, or is retrieved from our file for repeat jobs. All artwork is faxed to you (new or existing art) for a signed approval. Production will not begin before we have a signed approval of the artwork faxed to us.
3. Printing is scheduled to be completed seven business days after art is approved in writing.

Typically, we can complete jobs in 7-10 business days following your signed approval of the artwork to be used. Rush charges will apply to jobs with a deadline of less than 7 business days. Half payment is due upon placement of the order.

Art Department Requirements:

Customer-Provided Art: We accept artwork from clients at screenprinting@optonline.net as follows:

*Corel Draw: Saved as Version10 or earlier (.cdr) or as an encapsulated PostScript (.eps). All text must be converted to curves.

*Adobe Illustrator: Saved as Version 8 or earlier (.ai) or as an encapsulated PostScript (.eps). All text must be converted to outlines. Also looking for vector art

In both formats, fills are to be SPOT COLOS ONLY. There will be an additional charge to convert files for CMYK or RGB colors.

• Photographic Art Files: We can turn your photographic art files into printable artwork. Please note that fees for this process are based on the complexity of the job. We accept photographic artwork in the following formats: Adobe Photoshop, eps, jpeg, tiff. All files must have a resolution of 300dpi or higher.

Embroidery

With the latest digitizing software, embroidery tools and equipment, we offer custom embroidery that is second to none! Embroidery provides that extra-special look that sets a sales team apart from the rest. Custom stitched shirts, hats and other garments help your team look their best!

Pricing: Embroidery pricing is based on the number of stitches in each logo. (thread count), and the number of garments that are produced.

Terms & Conditions

Please note that Long Island Screen Printing adheres to all copyright laws. We assume that art provided to us is legal for use in the public domain. Customers assume liability for any patent and/or copyright infringement when goods are made to the customers’ specifications.

Payment: We require a 50% deposit on all goods at the time that an order is placed. The remaining 50% is due upon delivery of goods.

Payment Options: Payment can be made via check or money order or credit card. Credit card payments via Visa, MasterCard and American Express can be placed in person, or by phone to 631-345-2456.

Payment via purchase order is available only for established institutions with a PO system such as schools, religious organizations, government entities and large corporations. ALL SALES VIA PURCHASE ORDER MUST BE CLEARED AT TIME OF ORDERING.

Delivery: Goods will be ready for shipment/pick up in 7-10 business days following the day that we receive final approval of all artwork. Please allow 10 business days for garments that include personal names and/or numbering. When required, we off Rush Service for an additional fee of 20%.

Sales Tax: Customers are responsible for sales tax unless a resale certificate or non-profit documentation is provided.

Website Use: Our website is provided as a service to our customers. We accept no responsibility for any technical hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to use of this website. Any attempt to damage this website or undermine its legitimate operation is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws. We reserve the right to seek damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.
